Our goal this meeting was to finish Handyman, focusing on the bikes and the remaining parts of the car we didn’t finish last week (checking the oil). With this meeting and the previous ones, plus the homework to finish up Handyman #1, they all earned Handyman.

What. Indicate who is responsible for each. Note we had two parent volunteers to help in addition to the leaders. This kept the boys busy rotating through each station.

Handyman #5: With adult supervision, show how to check the oil level and tire pressure on a car.

Handyman #6: Make a repair to a bicycle, such as tightening the chain, fixing a flat tire, or adjusting the seat or handlebars.

Handyman #7: Properly lubricate the chain and crank on a bicycle.

Handyman #8: Properly inflate the tires on a bicycle.
