Our pack has a tradition of visiting City Council as Webelos I’s in order to learn more about the government and to perform the flag ceremony. The flags were permanently installed in the City Council chambers a few years ago but we can still lead them in the pledge as well as meet the mayor and observe government in action. This visit is great to show the boys how the government actually works and gives our pack visibility. It satisfies: Citizen 10. With your Webelos den or your family, visit a community leader. Learn about the duties of the job or office and tell what you have learned.
